Росабланш | | Росабланш, по-английски Rosablanche - это невысокая гора, расположенная в северных средних широтах восточного полушария, в точке с координатами 46.060368° северной широты, 7.354231° восточной долготы. Географически вершина расположена следующим образом: Евразия (Европа), Южные Альпы, Pennine Alps. Вершина принадлежит к следующим странам: Швейцария.
Высота вершины три тысячи триста тридцать шесть метров, или десять тысяч девятьсот сорок пять футов. Сезон, лучше всего подходящий для восхождения на гору: Январь, Февраль, Март, Апрель, Май, Июнь, Июль, Август, Сентябрь, Октябрь, Ноябрь, Декабрь. Покорение вершины Росабланш по прежнему требует серьезного подхода, однако уже заметно проще сверхвысокогорных и технически сложных маршрутов. Для преодоления некоторых ледовых и каменистых участков все еще могут потребоваться кошки, ледоруб и страховка, а вот вопросы погоды и логистики уже играют меньшую роль. The nearest destinations by car are Barage de la Grande Dixence, in Val d' Heremence, and Siviez in Val de Nendaz (free parking in both cases, the former at around 1900 m altitude and the later at 1730 m). The closest huts are Cab. de Prafleuri (2624 m), Cab. de Ecoulaies (2575 m), Ref. de la Barmaz (2458 m) from Heremence side, and Ref. de St. Laurent (2485 m) above Lac de Cleuson (from Val de Nendaz), and Cab. de Louvie in Val de Bagnes (Fionnay). The routes from the north-east (on Glacier du Prafleuri) and north-west (on Glacier Grand Desert) are easy glacier walks, with some crevasses in their lower parts. Having crampons is an advantage although one can manage without them too.From Siviez (1730 m) one can reach the summit in 5 hours. One should first take the road (closed for public) towards the lake Cleuson (along the east side of the river) or follow pleasant hiking trails (along the west side) through the woods towards the barage and a small churche in front of it. The woods end at the barage and after that one continues along either side of the lake following the signs towards Ref. de St. Laurent. Along the east side it is a wide road while on the west side it is a hiking path which joins the road at the end of the lake. Some agencies with special permission transport people by cars directly to the hut. From the hut continue to the south up the hill, towards the lake Grand Desert. This is a nice area at around 2650 m of altitude suitable for bivouacing. From this point the glacier Grand Desert is already visible and one should continue to the south-east along an easy path towards the glacier. At some point one crosses the route which goes towards Col de Louvie (south-west direction) and towards Col de Prafleuri (north-east dierction). Once you reach the glacier, because of crevasses keep left as much as possible, close to the rock of Mt. Calme.From Val d' Heremence (the Barage de la Grande Dixence, free car access) follow the signs towards Cab. de Prafleuri. The hut can be reached also from the south (from the La Barma hut on the west side of the lake Dix) over Col des Roux (2804). From Cab. de Prafleuri continue in the nort-west direction (signs to Col de Prafleuri) towards an area where the material was excavated for the building of the barage on the Dix lake. At that point the summit of Rosablanche is already in sight and it remains so for the rest of the climb. After that continue to south-west to switch to the Prafleuri Glacier. | | |
